About King Abdul Aziz International Airport - (KAIA) - Phase I – APM and High Speed Rail Station

15,000 sq.m Haramain High Speed Rail Station with 2 Double Platforms and 2 Single Platforms.

APM facilitating traveler movement through the PTB increasing the airport’s
capacity by transporting 4000 PPHPD (passengers per hour per direction).

Contract was signed with Bombardier Transportation to design, build, operate and maintain a Bombardier Innovia APM 300 automated people mover system for the King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA).

It has a total area of 810,000 square meters and a capacity of 80 million passengers.

Terminal 1 is one of the largest airport terminals in the world.
