Al Masjid Al Haram Expansion

About Al Masjid Al Haram Expansion

The Grand Mosque Expansion, the largest construction project in history, stands as one of the most significant chapters in Saudi Binladin Group’s legacy.

Saudi Binladin Group participated in the execution of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Expansion, marking a major milestone in the development of Al Masjid Al Haram in Makkah through the expansion of prayer areas, supporting facilities, and infrastructure.

During the reign of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, may Allah have mercy upon him, the Group continued its longstanding role through its contribution to the Third Saudi Expansion of Al Masjid Al Haram, one of the largest expansion projects in its history. Drawing on its extensive engineering and construction expertise, SBG contributed to significantly increasing the Mosque’s capacity and enhancing its facilities and infrastructure to better serve millions of worshippers and pilgrims.

Together, these landmark expansions reflect the enduring trust placed in Saudi Binladin Group and its longstanding commitment to serving the Two Holy Mosques and the Guests of Allah.
