Winner of two 2009 Global Road Achievment

In 2005, this 6-Lane, 775 km, Design / Build / Finance Expressway won two Global Road Achievement Awards in Construction Technology and Innovative Financing. This was the first time in the awards history that a single project wins two such awards in the same year. Also a 420 kilometre coastal highway from Shuqrah to Mukallah in the Yemen.

SBG has also constructed bridges, underpasses and tunnels. Until 2006, total accomplishments in this sector include:

By 2003 Binladin Companies built or participated in the construction of nearly 25 airports within the region and other countries. including Malaysia, Syria, and Egypt. Each project is tailored to meet the client’s specifications...outside and inside the terminal building... such as the turnkey domestic airport in Wadi Al Dawaser. ...and the Jumbo Jet modification hangar near Riyadh. In 2007, SBG won the contract to build the hajj terminal at King Abdull Aziz International Airport in Jeddah, and Blaise Diangne International Airport in Dakar, Senegal.
